Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Playtime Cafe! We cannot wait for you to come and visit. Prior to booking, we do ask that you read the following Terms and Conditions, and ensure you follow them on your visit! 

  • All terms and conditions must be agreed to prior to booking with us. 
  • Children are to be supervised by an adult (over 18 years old) at all times, and not to be left in the premises unattended under any circumstances.  The PlaytimeCafe cannot take responsibility for children under any circumstance. 
  • The person booking the activities is responsible for notifying all those in the party of these terms and conditions. This includes all persons attending private parties. 
  • Any visitor to The Playtime Cafe may be asked to sign these terms and conditions prior to entry into the premises. Entry cannot be granted if these are not signed and agreed to. 
  • The Playtime Cafe Ltd does not accept any liability for any accidents or injury that may occur whilst on the premises.  
  • All accidents are to be reported to a member of staff to ensure all details are recorded, and to provide any necessary assistance. 
  • Some toys on site may have small parts, please ensure children are monitored at all times. 
  •  If a toy is found to be broken, please report this to a member of staff immediately. 
  • The health and safety of all visitors and staff is of the utmost importance, and therefore please ensure all safety signs are followed at all times. Failure to do so may result in being asked to vacate the premises.  
  • We kindly ask that all visitors to The Playtime Cafe respect all other visitors and staff. Any persons seen to be disrespectful, violent or misbehaving may be asked to leave the premises. No refunds will be issued under this circumstance.  
  • Guests may be required to compensate The Playtime Cafe for any deliberate damage caused to any part of the premises, including any toys.  
  • We kindly ask that shoes be removed before entering the play area, including any adults. This is to ensure a clean environment for the children to enjoy. Socks must be worn for hygiene reasons.  We have sign posted the area in which shoes be removed. We do recommend wearing shoes in the cafe and toilet areas, and accept no responsibility for any injury caused if any guest chooses not to.  
  • We kindly ask that you do not consume any food or drinks within the play area. No food or drink purchased outside the playcafe is to be consumed onsite.  
  • If any of your party have dietary/medical requirements please talk to a member of staff prior to attending. 7 days notice is required for private parties only. 
  • Please ensure 48-hour notice is given for all cancellations for open play bookings. If 48 hours or more notice is given your booking can be rescheduled, or refunded. If your booking is cancelled in less than 48 hours notice you will only be able to reschedule your appointment to a later date, and no refund will be issued. 
  • If you have a private party booked with us, please ensure you give a minimum of two weeks notice if you wish to cancel. We may then be able to offer you a later available date. Your deposit is non-refundable if you do choose to cancel, but will be moved to your later date if rescheduled.  
  • Smoking or any kind (including e-ciggarettes) is strictly prohibited on site, including the carpark. 
  • The Playtime Cafe cannot be held responsible for any damage/loss to personal belongings when on site. 
  • We kindly ask that you do not take photographs of other children on site. All photos to be taken of your child only. The Playtime cafe cannot be held responsible for any photos shared online by other visitors. 
  • Onsite parking is on a first come, first served basis. Visitors cars are left on site at their own risk. The Playtime Cafe cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur. 
  • The playtime cafe reserves the right to cancel any play session or private party in the event of any unforeseen circumstance/emergency. If any play session or private party needs to be cancelled, full refunds will be issued. 

Private Party Hire: 

The following terms and conditions apply to private party bookings. All terms above remain in place as well as the following: 

  • A non-refundable deposit is payable upon booking your party. The final balance is due 7 days before the date of your party. In the event this is not paid, The Playtime cafe reserves the right to cancel your party. 
  • A Maximum of 15 children are to attend any party. If additional children are required, please contact us to discuss. 
  • Access will be allowed for the person booking the party 15 minutes before your party starts. No children will be permitted into the play area until the party start time. 
  • The person booking the party assumes responsibility for any children of which parents/guardians are not in attendance. The Playtime Cafe is not responsible for any children under any circumstance. 
  • The Playtime Cafe must be informed of any dietary/allergy requirements 7 days before the party date.
